I've been griping long enough about blog-spammers... you know, the idiots who flood your blogs' comments sections with ads for penis enlargers, time-shares, and Texas Hold 'Em, Highest Limits Ever!
Yah.
So I thought, why not actually do something about the problem?
Robert was kind enough to provide a break: a link to a website that sells a software tool used to produce blog spam. The program is called Blog Blaster, and I'm guessing it does exactly what you'd expect. The jerk selling it is named Sebastian Foss, and a Whois query of the blog-blast.com domain reveals that he operates out of Lindlar, Germany.
My guess is that this asshole still lives with his mother. Here are his contact details:

So here's my suggestion: if you are as sick and tired of blog-spamming as we are here at The Dead Hand, let's teach Herr Foss a lesson. Write the SOB a letter at the address above. Make his phone ring at 2 AM (from the U.S., don't forget to dial 011 before the country code). Sign his e-mail up for every porn and spam service you can think of. Fax his credentials to Interpol.
In short, let's make a concerted effort to take back some of the millions of man-hours Sebastian and his ilk have forced us to waste, deleting their garbage from our blogs.
If we can make his mom yell at him, so much the better.
