On August 18, 2004, the same day the Army originated the terrorist alert message discussed in detail in my article, Inaction after Army Recruiters Targeted, Jane Fonda and “Vagina Monologues” playwright Eve Ensler, along with left-wing activists Susan Sarandon and Gloria Steinem, announced the event of the election season: “Vaginas Vote, Chicks Rock.“
I bring this up because Jane Fonda is the same person who was directly responsible for the deaths of American prisoners at the Hanoi Hilton during the Vietnam conflict, and who broadcast messages beamed to front-line troops and Hanoi-bound bomber pilots to lay down their arms and to turn back their aircraft.
Fonda and her group claim to be nonpartisan, but I doubt any readers of this post are naïve enough to believe that. I would not put it past them to be behind the current wave of threats against Army Recruiters – but I have no direct evidence. I remind you again, however, that heroic Americans died as a direct consequence of Fonda’s earlier anti-American activities.
